we’re living in an age of darkness – not from a lack of knowledge, but from a spiritual and mental perspective.

but I’m not here to bring your mind to the darkness, I’m here to bring your eyes back to the light – to the hope.

because the dark ages don’t last forever, the renaissance comes next

renewal. revival. rebirth. welcome to the modern renaissance.

to embark on a new journey

we’ve all been feeling it, but let’s name it for what it is. there’s a disconnect happening all over, for so many. writers are struggling, marketing professionals are working harder than ever, and the labor market is squeezing people dry.

the world around us, and the people in it, are struggling to keep up – with new trends in marketing, with bills in real life, with the economy. I see it on my LinkedIn feed almost daily. today the headline said, “jobless reports on the rise.” another post called out a quote that said, “the 9-5 job will be nonexistent by 2034”

people can’t find jobs, companies aren’t hiring as many people, and LLMs are reducing staffing needs.

we’re facing a crisis at a large scale.

the systems that were created to help us, are breaking apart at the seams. leadership of many kinds seems to be unaware of the common person’s interests and problems.

it looks and feels very bleak, but in a world that feels broken, we still have hope.

the universal experience

in 2020, our world changed, and it never really got back to “normal”

we heard this new “idea” of quiet quitting, and then quiet firing, and then we saw “AI is going to take your job”

but, when we get on social media, when we scroll through LinkedIn, when we try to connect with other humans, we get a cold shoulder.

content – AI generated
ideas – cloned
people – struggling
jobs – nonexistent

but I want to remind you of our not-so-recent history.

once upon a time, there was a change in the labor market – the water mill and the printing press was invented. suddenly, people had more time on their hands to do what they wanted and enjoyed doing.

and thus, the Renaissance was born.

a rebirth of all things human and beautiful. art. literature. scientific discovery. philosophical study.

suddenly, we had more time to be human.

and friend, the same thing is happening right now. if you would simply open your mind and your eyes to perceive it.

the modern renaissance

all around us, there is something stirring. a restlessness, a strange teetering on the edge of something that nobody can name.

we all feel it, see it, sense it, but what do we do about it?

well, it’s time to buckle down into a business model that truly serves others, make a solid hourly wage, and start working on your passion projects.

write that novel.
paint that picture.
open that business.
become that person.

who are you destined to become?
because the time is now.

what you do next, will shape your future. but it might also impact the world in a way you never knew possible.

so close the tabs, put the phone down. go outside and look up. feel the wind touch your cheeks. breathe in deep and find yourself in the moment. reach way down deep and ask yourself:

who do I want to be?
why does it matter to me?
am I ready?

and then it’s time to jump, little birdie. fly on wings like eagles.

who am I?

my name is Jojo, I’m 26, an experienced marketing professional and serial entrepreneur. I’ve been in business for over 6 years now, and in business operations for 8. I’m building a new thing, a new way, a new path. the modern renaissance.

if you’re interested in joining the rebellion, the resistance, the renaissance, you can start right now, today. here’s how:

  1. stop expecting the system to work for you.
  2. open your eyes and ears to the world around you.
  3. feel the fear and do it anyway.
