ever since I can remember, I’ve been a creative person. from the time I could hold a crayon, I’ve been drawing and making art.

in 2022, I designed brands and logos for new business owners.

in 2023, I got my first sewing machine, and since then have created many different things including dresses, kids coats, pants, scarves, and more.

In 2025, I’ve launched my own fashion brand (and can’t wait to see where that leads!)

if you haven’t gathered the overarching theme here yet, it’s that I have a passion for creating. However, I’ve also recognized that not everyone cares about it like i do – and that it doesn’t have to be center stage of everything i talk about online.

So, part of what you’ll find on appalachian grasshopper will be about creative pursuits. However, I promise not to overwhelm the blog with only creative content. I want to mix in a good variety of business, homesteading, and creative.
